It was announced today that Target is recalling about 560,000 of it’s Hatch & Grow Easter Eggs, Easter Grow Toys and Hatch Your Own Dino Eggs. According to the recall, if swallowed the toys can expand in a child’s stomach, causing intestinal obstructions that could be life-threatening.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has further warned medical professionals and parents that, if ingested, these items may not appear on an X-ray. Thankfully, no incidents or injuries have been reported thus far.
